The Sunday Stroll for October 5th

I really don’t have much of a stroll set up for you this weekend but there are a few links worth checking out.
Do you continuously find yourself reading a comic book title that you no longer enjoy? I do, it’s called X-Men Legacy. Why do I continue to read it if I no longer enjoy it? I’m not really sure. Here is an interesting Q & A that ask the question, Why Do We Keep Reading Comics We Don’t Like?
I’m definitely purchasing this DVD on October 21st. Maybe you will too or maybe you need something to persuade you to make the purchase. Maybe this review will help you decide.
I totally missed this story but these guys didn’t. Two of DCU’s Legion of Super Heroes books are being canceled. I won’t lose any sleep over this since I didn’t read these two comics anyway. It does suck to see books get canceled unless they sucked and these two books must have really sucked since they are being canceled.
You won’t have to go to far to find this link, it’s my newest column, Comics I Bought In…, learn what I thought about the Comics I Bought In September.
That’s going to do it for this week. Like I said in the beginning, pretty short stroll this week.

The Legion news is horrible! I was really excited about seeing what writer Jim Shooter had planned, considering he started in comics, like, 40 years ago designing covers for the book.
Bring it back, Didio!
I’ve always enjoyed Jim Shooters work. I just could never get into the Legion books regardless of who was writing them. It’s a DC thing I guess, having grown up on Marvel titles I’ve always found it difficult to get into DC Comics, with the exception being Batman and Superman, and the times I’ve enjoyed those two titles are pretty far and between.
