What’s going on over at DC Comics? Their titles are dropping like flies. You can add Blue Beetle to the list of recent cancellations. Blue Beetle now joins Manhunter, Birds of Prey, Nightwing, Robin and Legion of Super Heroes on the current list of books that DC has announced that will be canceled in the next few months.

Speaking of DC, why do you have 243 followers on Twitter and 0 tweets? Could be part of your problem, not the lack of Twitter post but the lack of marketing on your part. DC Comics should be utilizing every avenue available to them to promote their titles but I don’t see that happening. I know which publishers are going above and beyond to promote their titles and which ones are not. DC Comics, you are not!

Indy Comic News makes some very interesting points about what the future holds for Indy comics and graphic novels. I think the author brings up some pretty valid points. I especially agree with point #1, we are already seeing a decline in the amount of mom and pop comic shops, pretty soon they’ll go the way of the dodo bird.

If your one of the handful of people that is looking forward to the Frank Miller directed The Spirit feature film then you may want to check out the latest trailer. I haven’t watched it yet so come back here and tell me what you thing. On second thought, nevermind, I really don’t want to know.

Since were talking movie trailers, here’s another one that I have no interest in but I know more than a few people do, yea I’m talking about all of you Trekkies. Here is something else for all of you Trekkies. By the way, I have nothing against Star Trek. I blame my dislike of the franchise on William Shatner. Everytime I think of Star Trek I think of William Shatner and I don’t like thinking of William Shatner.
